POINT BREAK GOLF™ is based in Calgary Alberta, Canada. Founded in 2022, we are passionate about bringing technology to the golf course in non-disruptive ways to help you improve your game. For several decades now, technology has become commonplace in almost every aspect of our lives, and the golf course has been no exception. Somewhat surprisingly, however, is that there isn’t much tech when it comes to putting.

Our founder, Ken Sharman, conceptualized The POINT BREAK GOLF™ ball marker while studying Physics and Computer Science at the University of Calgary. After taking a couple courses in circuit design, Ken was out on the golf course and became frustrated with missing short, relatively flats putts. The mission was immediately clear; design a gadget that could take high-precision measurements of a golf green. Shortly after that, a breadboard prototype was developed on Ken’s kitchen table.

Recognizing the potential of the device, Ken assembled a world-class team of engineers, industrial designers, and product managers to transform the prototype into a market-ready unit. Our objective has been simple: the unit should not only help you make more putts, but it should also be something you are proud to pull out of your bag and show off to your playing partners. At POINT BREAK GOLF™, we have successfully achieved this goal and are eager to share our product with you.
